Our son hasn't arrived yet so I cannot tell you how it will hold under years of use. I knocked off a star because when my husband was putting it together, the screw holes were not drilled properly. One side would not align and the next thing I know he has the electric screwdriver out....
A standard mattress fits in here very snug, changing sheets is going to be a pain. Although for safety reasons, I know you want a snug mattress. All in all, the quality is there.
