(More customer reviews)This product was just what I was looking for. My son is 1 years old and weights 23 lbs. He fits perfectly in this sling. I am 5'4 and 140lbs and the s/m fits great. This sling allows me to put my son on my hip and go for quick trips in and out of a store. I hate always pulling out a stroller. It is also great for doing chores on those days he doesn't want to be put down. I also have a baby bijorn but this product is so much easier to get the baby in and out of. I would recommend this product for any mom with similar needs.

(More customer reviews)We got a really good deal on this and were excited about all the options it had.It was purchased so that our baby could face out in a carrier - our other one doesn't have the option.Well, I (Chris' wife) was sorely (in more ways than one!) disappointed in this item.The straps have some padding in them, but it barely gets over my shoulders before the non-padded part starts, and that part digs into me pretty badly.I tried to carry my baby both facing me and away from on the front.I am not fat, and my baby is only 18lbs (these things are generally supposed to hold up to 26lbs +), the padded area really should be longer.I would not recommend this to anyone, even if they were able to get it for free.I gave it 1 star as it is a good idea in theory..

Peanut Shell Microfleece Sling - Squirt Review

(More customer reviews)I have two Peanut Shell slings -- one regular cotton and one microfleece. They're beautifully made and seem like a great concept, although my son isn't a huge fan of them. He's big for his age (two months) and complains all the time he's in there, despite being properly adjusted.

One cautionary note about the microfleece sling -- the sizing. According to the Peanut Shell charts I need a Medium sling, and indeed in the *regular cotton* sling, the Medium is a perfect size for me. However, the microfleece sling stretches tremendously once the baby is in it, making the sling *too large*. Suddenly it hangs way down, so that my legs bump it when I walk! Not the intended effect!

So if you're ordering the Peanut Shell in microfleece, I'd suggest choosing one size SMALLER than your recommended size. Otherwise you'll end up, like me, with a sling you can't use...
