(More customer reviews)I'm a nurse so I have used a Fetal Doppler before. I'm a very excited first time mother, expecting a baby girl soon! I got this thinking it would provide a great experience for my Husband and I.All we ever got out of it was a the sound of my intestines and a few microphone bumps and crackles when she moved around, but no heart beat. We put in the extra $$ and bought a real Doppler and it works great!
My advice, if you really wanna hear your little one's heartbeat, spend the extra $$ for a real Fetal Doppler. They have speakers so you don't have to be hooked up to head sets, they are much easier to use, and they actually work.

(More customer reviews)I have read about 2 out of 10 to 20 reviews saying this product worked for them. I am not one of those two. All I have got it gurgling noises and when she kicks I can hear that. But I can also feel it. I can hear my own heart beat but I am now 9 months pregnant and still have not heard my baby's heart beat with this item. On the bright side it works to hear my dogs heart beat.
