(More customer reviews)Most hanging toys I have purchased for my grandson are colorful, well made, and easy for tiny hands to hold. This Flutterfly by Tiny Smarts is not.
I was very disappointed with the Flutterfly I purchased. The colors are muted and somewhat dull. The toy is made with fabrics that do not have interesting textures and there are no crackly fillings to engage an infant's attention. The wings are attached using visible plastic - the fabric covering on the actual wings hides most of this, but the joint into the body is visible.I am not happy about the antenna and feet which are satin-type cords. It appears they might be easily pulled out by an older child, although it might take some determined work. The Flutterfly is larger than most other hanging toy items and is not easy for little hands to grasp. My grandson ignores this toy which is attached to his play mat's arch; he is fascinated by the other, more colorful pieces hanging above him.
This is one item I would not recommend; it is only average and does not rise to the level of other Tiny Love or Lamaze items.
