NoJo Jungle Tales Musical Mobile Review

(More customer reviews)I'm surprised that people have rated this mobile so high - I guess people aren't that picky.

The only good thing about this mobile is that it matches the rest of the Jungle Tales set.

As for the bad things

- It doesn't play nearly long enough
- Winding it is very LOUD
- The music is very LOUD
- The music sounds like a cheap music box
- Did I mention it doesn't play long enough?

In my world the purpose of the mobile is to entertain the child as well as sooth it to sleep with the music.Well with this one you wind it up and hope that the LOUD winding doesn't startle the baby.

Then you let it play and it's a LOUD and cheap sound.

And as I said it only plays for a minute or 2.I don't know about your baby but my baby isn't going to be soothed to sleep by something so short.

Why it has an on and off switch I have no idea.

We'll be buying a new mobile.

Thanks for reading.I would look else where unless you just want to have the matching mobile and aren't worried about the music part.

Nojo Serenity Musical Mobile, Pink/Brown Review

This was least expensive music mobile I can find.
It has all the accessories to attach to the crib.
After several plays, it plays music with skipping couple notes.
my guess is that couple of soldering metals have fell off.
However, my 3 month son still laugh every time he hears music and see them moving.

NOJO Organic Nature Musical Mobile Review

(More customer reviews)There are only two things a mobile needs to do: Spin and play the song. This mobile does both of those items poorly if it does them at all.

Lets take the spinning first.The animals get stuck on the mobile arm which makes it get stuck on every turn.We had to put a rubber band around the head of the giraffe/zebra (we are not sure what the animal is supposed to be).
As for the music, it only lasts 2 minutes.What does that buy you? Enough time to get out the nursery door and a frustrated baby.Now, the lullaby sounds like it is dying as it skips notes.What a horrible product and a waste of good money.

(More customer reviews)While this mobile is adorable and fits with the rest of the Papayago-themed nursery bedding well, the fact that the mobile runs for less than two minutes every time you wind it completely defeats the purpose. My daughter can stare at it for multiple windings, which is great if you want to stand there the entire time your child uses it, but I certainly can't run and throw a load of laundry in before the mobile stops!

This review is more about the seller: BeyondBedding, and their extortionist shipping and "handling" prices (I put "handling" in quotes because this is where a lot of companies try to justify their exorbitant shipping prices, but are actually just getting extra money out of you for no real reason).I ordered two of these sheets--crib sheets, mind you; not like, you know, full size bed sheets--and chose the cheapest (and slowest) shipping and "handling" available, which still turned out to be an outrageous $18 (the sheets only cost $30, making shipping 60% of the product cost!)!The box weighed maybe two pounds, if that.Also, all that $$$ for shipping didn't even garner me a tracking number.

If you absolutely cannot find that "just perfect" bedding product for your nursery (or bedroom) except at BeyondBedding (which was my case), then go ahead and order from them; just know that they're making a lot of profit in shipping and "handling" fees and they WILL overcharge you.

I am not a musician or music snob, but even my tone deaf ears are offended by the notes with this tune. My suggestion is to buy a different mobile with more appealing music tunes. Otherwise, this product is good only for the looking, not the hearing.

(More customer reviews)We bought this to complete the "enchanted hollow" theme for our nursery.We only started using it after our son was born and it didn't last a month.A few weeks after starting to use it, the music starting sounding flat on certain notes, and then stopped playing them altogether.I opened up the music box and noticed that the mechanism that struck the notes had bent.The mobile animals are very cute, though, so we kept the mobile and modified a Baby Einstein mobile with the animals from this one.

I kept the item because for whatever crazy reason my daughter adores this mobile. I can't help but laugh when I see her smiling and cooing at the ugly dragonflies above her crib.
