(More customer reviews)I was so excited when I found this bedding set because it was the perfect baby blue and chocolate brown combination I was looking for.However, when I actually received the bedding in the mail, the color is more of an aqua/turquoise.It was still cute bedding but a little more feminine than I was wanting for my baby boy because of the weird color.It threw off the whole look of my nursery.Even the package that it came in shows a pretty baby blue color so I felt all the advertising was very deceiving.On a positive note, the blanket is very soft.The price is also quite high for what little you actually get in the package.

MiGi Alphabet 4-Piece Baby Bedding Set Review

(More customer reviews)I was specifically looking for an alphabet design that would have a picture associated with the majority, if not all letters in the alphabet. Other alphabet designs take shortcuts with just a few pictures. I wanted to do this for my second child because my older child also has an alphabet design with a picture of an animal for almost all the letters and showed an avid interest in going over the pictures, learning new words and letters early on. I;ve even caught her quietly repeating the names of the animals to herself before falling asleep!

having met my first requirement, this is also a very cute design with a modern touch. What has been disappointing:

- I expected all cotton materials but both the blanket and the bumper have a fluffy, all polyester back. this was not apparent from the picture or the description.
- bumper ties are too short and a struggle to tie in the back and the 4 corners of a sleigh-type crib
- bumper ties are not in the right places if your crib has a solid panel in the center of the long side of the crib. I have tried to remove them and re-sew them in more usable locations along the bumper but there really needs to be more ties attached in the first place
- the sheet fits but the dots are just too much and too dense - it's a very busy pattern
- you cannot buy spare sheets and it is hard to match the color/pattern with another brand - important in a baby set given that you can have a variety of accidents

(More customer reviews)This bedset is super soft & I love all the colors. The animals plus the alphabet & dots are a great combination. The colors are nice & cool and could easily be used for a boy or girl. We painted two of our son's walls the lighter blue that's in this set and put up brown curtains and it looks really nice! The comforter is super soft & the plain blue on one side, then the pretty alphabet animals design on the other. I've washed the whole set and it's held up just fine. The mobile & valance are adorable, too! And the other little blanket that goes with this set is the same softness & super cute, as well. I wish they had more stuff to go with the set like a trash can, nightlight, etc. But with all the colors in it, it hasn't been hard to find things to go in the room. It's looking great so far!

(More customer reviews)Everything is as cute and trendy as can be, and I feel that it is a great buy for all that you get for the price. However the fabric is not the greatest it is not soft and rather itchy. We will NOT be using the crib sheet and will be changing to a much softer fabric, but everything that does not touch baby is fine. The quilt is rather flimsy / light weight and again will not be used on baby but rather a much softer blanket but is cute to have in the nursery to tie everything together, With our other child we bought a pottery barn collection which is of the quality and feel that we were expecting perhaps but at a much higher price point with this you get what you pay for in terms of feel, but everyone who sees it thinks it is adorable and NOT your typical nursery and that it will be able to grow with baby and not be to babyish in a year.
