(More customer reviews)As a new (neurotic) mom, I was terrified of SIDS.I found this product and purchased it to help soothe my fears.This has finally allowed me consistent night's peace.The first 3 weeks we had my daughter home I could not sleep.Every time I did not hear her breathe over the monitor I was sure something happened.Now I can sleep as long as my Bella has her baby beeper on!
Okay... how it works is simple... The Snuza fits snugly on her diaper and will vibrate if she stops breathing for any time.This usually causes her to take in a breath and "remind" her to breathe.I know when this happens, because the Snuza has a yellow warning button in the morning (as opposed to green).
My daughter is now 4.5 months old.It has vibrated her several times and alarmed 3 times.Each alarm was absolutely terrifying.My daughter was not breathing, however within seconds we were there to pick her up and wake her up!I don't know and don't want to know what would happen if we did not have the Snuza.
This item is a must for every new parent.I wish more people knew about it!Very highly recommended.
Another thing is that it is reusable for another child later.Just send it back to Snuza and they will replace it completely for a small ($20) fee.Totally worth it!

(More customer reviews)Versatile pad because of their larger size - I mostly use them as changing pads but they also work in the bath and as extra padding between the skimpy mattress and the sheet in the bassinet, but they don't stand up well in the wash. They pill and snag so badly you can't use them again until you cut all the strings and lumps off - some of the loops are big enough for baby to get hands and feet caught - and it's too much for a pill remover to deal with. I'm hoping they'll get to a point where there just isn't anything left to snag, but I imagine that will leave too thin to use for much else than changing pad covers.

Update 11/30/2007 - these have now completely worn out after 3-4 months of use and washing a couple of times a week. The vinyl waterproof layer inside has broken down and any spills soak straight through. However they did prove pretty durable despite the pilling problem (I constantly get my nails caught in them when picking baby up) so I will buy more if I can find them.

What seems purple is actually bright white! There is very light yellow (like butter cream color) and ivory colors too. The flowers and butterflies are very pretty!
It's very soft and so cute. I haven't washed it yet, so can't tell how it will hold on to that but so far I love it.

Also the front (dark blue) side of the bumper has cars stitched in light blue, the opposite side has rectangle stitched in white. Washes well. I dried for 15 min on delicate then finished by air drying.

(More customer reviews)Border is very cute, but does not stay attached to the wall.We put up half the border one day and when we came into the room the next morning most of it had fallen off the wall.So we reattached it and put up the rest but it still kept coming off in certain places.We were constantly having to run our hands over the border to get it to stick back to the wall, finally had to go buy some adhesive squares to stick behind the border.Thats the only way we have found to make it stay up.

(More customer reviews)I really love this set!The colors are true to the picture, they are crisper in real life.The crib skirt is the same pattern as the crib bumper.The bumper has ties on the top only, and then on the ends there are ties on top and bottom.The crib sheet is pink gingham.There are a few items "quilted" onto the comforter, which is a nice touch.The material is a polyester blend, and although I haven't washed it yet, it does not feel as soft as 100% cotton would, that is the only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.There are so many patterns you can match to this set, pink gingham or green gingham, yellow or lavender solids, and butterflies, lady bugs, and flowers.I love the happy, whimsical garden theme.Overall, it is a great item for a great price!

(More customer reviews)We purchased this thinking it would be a gold & cream like the photos lead you to believe. But to my surprise when we received it, it is Very Buttery Yellow! There is no cream, only a soft yellow color and a darker yellow.
The pattern also has an orange, light pink and golden brown.
It is very pretty though!
The bumper & pillow are very thin, not much padding. I'm just glad I didn't pay any more than I did for it. The price is equal to the quality.
Overall I am pleased, however don't purchase this if you are expecting a more neutral cream & soft gold... it is very buttery & sunshine YELLOW!!
