(More customer reviews)I used a moses basket for my first child for her first 5 months, and was very pleased with the safety, portability, and ease of use.We only reluctantly traded it in for a crib when she outgrew it.For my second, I had to shop online, and tried my best to find one that looked similar to the first (which was a hand-me-down, brand unknown).This basket, unfortunately, is a horror.It's ugly, too narrow, and most alarmingly, has a pad that curls up the sides, which presents a SIDS hazard.I don't normally write product reviews, but as a physician, I feel a need to warn people away from this product.Any bedding for a newborn needs to fit SNUGLY, without bulges.Buyer beware.

Argington Organic Bam Bassinet Review

(More customer reviews)It's a decent bassinet, but at $359, the wood is very cheap and light, and they have a warning sticker that needs to be removed. (It warns you to assemble it correctly). It's huge and of the cheapest possible material, so it cannot be removed without a tool. Of course, we ended up scratching the finish while trying to remove it.

So the manufacturers saved something like 6 cents by choosing a warning sticker that take a half hour for the end user to remove. Just pay for a decent sticker that actually comes off.

Anyway, in summary: overpriced. Annoying sticker.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Picci Cortina Carry basket for my baby for nights when the baby will sleep in our room as well as times when we are on the move.I like it so much better than a clunky pack-and-play and it's beautiful too.I'm not sure what the weight limits are but we'll have to see as the baby gets bigger.I plan to go buy more sheets as the one sheet that it does come with seems to be a bit flimsy and likely will not hold up to several washing.Also, the first one that was delivered arrived with the box somewhat crushed so I contacted Amazon to return it.They sent a new one at no cost overnight and reimbursed me for my return shipping no questions asked.Great customer service!
