(More customer reviews)My husband and I put this bag on our registry on a whim figuring nobody in their right mind would pay $80 for a diaper bag.We were thrilled when we received it at our shower.Our baby was born in mid December and we loved this bag.It went everywhere with us.It holds a dozen neborn diapers in the inside pockets, bottles, formula containers, toys, clothes and even a snall blanket depending on what else you've packed.the easy access wipes are great and I love that the changing pad stores in the back zipper pocket rather than taking up space in the main compartment.

The diappointing part was that it didn't hold up.The bag itself has held up pretty well even when filled to capacity (and then some).The strap however, has not.The webbing used to make the tabs that hold the rings where the shoulder strap hooks on (attaches) to the bag itself is poor quality and began to unravel and fray by late August.It was very frustrating.The only reason we had even considered this bag was that it was big and sturdy and would last at least a couple years.Instead, I had to purchase a new (inexpensive) bag from a local store in about eight months.

Assuming that we just got one of a bad lot and the rest are fine, I would highly recommend the bag.If, on the other hand, this poor quality webbing is the norm, I suggest you look elsewhere.

ERGO Back Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this backpack because I use my ERGObaby carrier everywhere, and I hated lugging an extra diaper bag around when I needed more than the standard diaper, wipes and one change of clothes I could fit in the carrier itself. Also, we were traveling abroad and I liked the idea of how this could attach to the carrier to be basically "one" bag. It was so much easier to drag along, since we used the carrier most everywhere we went (by foot, of course).

This bag is very roomy and has lots of space for everything. I have a few packing cubes inside of it that I use to organize diapers/wipes, change of clothes, and toys. There is also space for blankets and a few other things. My only complaint is that when you unzip the main pocket, it can be easy for things to fall out because there are no real dividers or pockets on the inside. There are two zippered pockets on the inside back liner, but those aren't for real "cargo" items like diapers or wipes or anything.

Although I'd prefer some type of mesh pocket on the inside or something to hold a few items, I love every other aspect of the bag. It's comfortable to wear, and I use it on my back separate from the ERGO carrier when I am wearing my daughter on the front. I also think It's sleak and sophisticated in a way -- it's not bulky and the black is very classic. It seems more like a daypack than a diaper bag, so my husband doesn't mind carrying it, either.

Great for travel, too. If you fly a lot -- this is a great carryon piece. You can attach to the carrier and have "one" personal item with you and have the backpack and carrier, which is really helpful if you check your stroller. (I think easier than gate check when you have tight connections.)

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag after owning Ju Ju Be Between and Colombia backpack. They both didn't work for me very well.

I was looking for a bag that wouldn't look like a diaper bag but would still have the organization for the few things you need for a toddler. This bag looks like a school bag and is great - I can fit a change of clothes for my boy, a couple of toys, sippy cups, some snacks and of course diapers and wipes. For myself I carry wallet, keys, cell phone and a bottle of water. Just enough for a short trip.

This bag is very narrow, so the outside bottle pockets are snug - you can have baby's cups/bottles there, but not a Sigg bottle. A Sigg would fit in the inside bottle pocket though (I have an Oggi stainless steal 26oz and it fits but I still carry it inside - the pockets are not very deep).

Because it is so narrow and the outside pockets (the back compartment and the mommy pocket) are flat, they steal from the inside space and it's a little hard to reach the bottom of the bag. So I just roll the spare clothes in a Ziploc and push them to the bottom and have all the rest of stuff on them - works for me. Despite being so narrow, this bag stands on it's own - a pleasant surprise.

As for the stroller straps they are on Velcro, so if you take them on and off the stroller opening the Velcro, they probably won't last a long time. I just left them on the stroller and attached a couple of carabiners to them to put the bag on because the ones they have are small and hard to open.

The backpack transition is not very easy - you have to remove the strap from the shoulder position completely and reorganize it for the backpack. To put it on you bag you have to use both hands simultaneously because the strap slides inside the loop, but once you have it there it works fine. Also, it's great having this option.

It's not fancy - the hardware is plastic, and there is a Velcro closer on the back compartment (I would prefer magnetic or a zipper). But as I said - it's great for the price, looks sturdy and I don't feel like I need to be careful with it - just use it. Also looks like I'll be able to throw it in the washer.

This would be perfect if it was two inches shorter and not so narrow, but really great otherwise.
