(More customer reviews)I ordered this changing pad because it has the ends curved up, and not just the sides.This is also sometimes refered to as a "4-sided changing pad" since all 4 edges are raised.

It seems very sturdy and fits very well on top of my dresser, effectively converting the dresser to a changing table.The only reason I didn't rate this higher was that it didn't include a non-skid pad on the bottom of the pad.Also, it would have been nice if it included a sheet or cover.

Next, I need to order some covers for it, since the baby doesn't like being directly against the smooth plastic surface.I am not sure which covers to order.

(More customer reviews)I also received non-Simmons brand changing pad covers sold by BabyAge and they were also labeled bonus and not for individual sale.They were described as being plush terry cloth, but are actually a thin knit and not very soft.I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Update: I called BabyAge and they were very apologetic about sending a different product than what was advertised and gave me a full refund.When I called them, they gave me instructions to print out a pre-paid shipping label they would email me and send it back.The next day, I received an email apology saying I could keep the changing pad covers as well as the refund.

(More customer reviews)We have a few of these changing pad covers, which fit well on the Basic Comfort Contour Changing Pad.The Velboa material is plush and soft, and it would feel great next to our baby's skin-- if it ever came in contact with him!Because our baby is a boy (i.e., is prone to spraying) and is breastfed (i.e., drinks a natural laxative all day), we've found it's more convenient to put a flannel receiving blanket on top of the changing pad and just whip that off every time he gets it dirty.This happens at least once or twice a day, so it's much more cost-effective to have about a dozen inexpensive receiving blankets on hand than a dozen relatively expensive changing pad covers, unless you want to do the laundry every day.Maybe someday when our boy gets a little older and has fewer diaper changes, he'll be able to lie directly on top of the changing pad cover, at which point I'm sure he'll find it nice and comfy.For young infants, though, I'd recommend investing in quantity rather than quality.

(More customer reviews)This changing table is simply great.Firm but comfortable padding is covered with a textured, water-proof liner.It's long enough to handle our 25" long baby, and should hold her for a few more inches of growth.We like the curved sides - they keep our 3-month old in the center, and the security belt will be helpful when she starts rolling around (she's already quite active but still stays centered on the pad.)The bottom is rigid, allowing us to tilt one end up, making her more comfortable.She loves laying on this table - we get lots of smiles here!

We covered the pad with the Munchkin washable cover - very soft and stretches over the pad like a fitted sheet.

LA Baby 4 Sided Changing Pad 30", White Review

(More customer reviews)This pad was purchased mainly for it's small size. All the other contour pads were 31" to 34" long, much too long for what we needed. This 30" four sided contour changing pad is much smaller, and as an added bonus, much safer. I really like having all four sides contoured to prevent scooting off the back as "Baby" starts learning to push with his feet. We customed made a changing table so we do not have side rails, but even if we did, the four sides prevents babies from hitting their heads against the rails. This is my third child and my first experience with the four sided pad.

Although most changing pad covers are designed for the two-sided contour pads, I found that they fit this pad just fine. We bought two covers designed for the 31" two-sided contour pad and they fit rather well. There is no gapping or pulling.

Overall, I am very pleased with the pad.

Breathable Baby Universal Crib Bumper Review

One one hand I liked the softness of the Carter's brand bumper, but I liked the "breathable" bumper because my daughter was born in the beginning of summer and I wanted her to stay as cool as possible; so I bought the breathable bumper. When I put it on the crib, it looked very nice and while my daughter was little and imobile, it was very useful. As soon as she began to roll around, about 4 months, I would wake in the night to screams...her litttle arms and legs would get caught in the spacing of the crib, up and over the bumper! She would roll and turn while sleeping and apparently her limbs would lift over the bumper and the bumper would crumble under the light pressure of a babies arm. I have since bought the Carter's brand bumper and I am happy. It stands up to her limbs and no more limbs get caught. Great idea, but bumper needs work.
